Pakistan Condemns Strikes on Saudi Energy Facilities, Reaffirms Support

Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed deep concern over reported strikes by Iran targeting energy installations in eastern Saudi Arabia, condemning the attacks and reiterating its unwavering support for the Kingdom.
In an official statement, the spokesperson of Pakistan’s Foreign Office strongly denounced the missile and drone attacks, describing them as a serious violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement also expressed grief over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the affected families.
Pakistan warned that such actions could further escalate tensions in the region and undermine stability. It reaffirmed full solidarity with the Saudi government and its people during this challenging time.
According to reports from Iranian media, Tehran confirmed carrying out strikes on a petrochemical complex in Al-Jubail Industrial City, claiming the attacks were in retaliation for earlier strikes on Iranian facilities. The report added that two sensitive petrochemical installations linked to U.S. companies were among the targets.
The situation continues to evolve, with regional and international stakeholders closely monitoring developments amid rising geopolitical tensions.
