PPP Leader Hadi Askari Hails ‘Battle of Truth’ as Golden Chapter in Pakistan’s History

Quetta: Provincial leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Engineer Hadi Askari, has described the so-called “Battle of Truth” as a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history, praising the armed forces for their response to enemy aggression.
In a statement issued in Quetta, Askari said the conflict represented a decisive struggle between truth and falsehood, in which the Pakistan Armed Forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism and effectively countered the enemy.
He claimed that the armed forces thwarted hostile designs and proved that Pakistan’s defense is in strong hands. Referring to aerial engagements, he said the country’s air defenders established dominance and destroyed advanced enemy aircraft, including Dassault Rafale jets, earning global recognition for their capabilities.
Askari emphasized that Pakistan is a peace-loving country that seeks to maintain relations with its neighbors on the basis of equality. However, he warned that any attempt to undermine the country’s sovereignty would be met with a strong response from both the military and the public.
He paid tribute to Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir and members of the armed forces, calling those who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s defense “national heroes.” He added that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces like an “iron wall” and will not allow any conspiracy against the country to succeed.
The PPP leader further stated that the unity between the public and the military during the conflict played a key role in defeating aggression, asserting that such resolve would ensure any future threats are dealt with decisively.
