Aleema Khan Urges PTI Leaders to Gather at Adiala Jail, Asks Workers to Stay Away

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister Imran Khan, has urged senior leaders and elected representatives of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to assemble at Adiala Jail to increase pressure for his release, while advising ordinary party workers to stay away for now.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Aleema Khan called on senators and members of the national and provincial assemblies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab to reach Adiala Jail in significant numbers. She said such a move could have a meaningful impact and help build pressure on the government.
She emphasized that the objective is to ensure that Imran Khan receives proper medical treatment at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad, and to push for expedited hearings on bail applications.
PTI Leadership, NOW is the time when Imran Khan Needs You!

According to Aleema Khan, the pressure could also prompt the relevant court to take up the bail petitions of Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, without delay.
She further noted that police عادة target party supporters during such gatherings, whereas family members and elected representatives are less likely to face arrests. In this context, she advised general PTI workers—especially those without official positions—not to come to Adiala Jail today.
Her statement is being seen as part of a strategic effort by the party to advance legal and medical relief for Imran Khan while minimizing the risk of mass arrests among supporters.
