Low-Level Flooding Reported at Tarbela, Kalabagh, and Head Khanki

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan’s Flood Forecasting Division has reported **low-level flooding** in the **Indus River** at **Tarbela** and **Kalabagh**, as well as in the **Chenab River** at **Head Khanki**.
According to the Flood Forecasting Division, water flows in the Indus River from **Chashma to Kotri**, along with the **Jhelum, Ravi, Sutlej, Kabul, and Chenab rivers**, and their major tributaries, remain within normal levels.
The division also stated that **Tarbela Dam** is currently **61% full**, while **Mangla Dam** has reached **41% of its storage capacity**.
For comparison, on the same date last year, Tarbela Dam was **80% full**, while Mangla Dam stood at **51% capacity**, indicating lower water storage levels this year.
