Safe City “Mera Pyara” Team Reunites Missing Son with Family After 15 Years

Lahore: The Safe City “Mera Pyara” team has achieved another major success by reuniting a man with his family after 15 years of separation.
According to details, a boy named Ramzan, who went missing in March 2010 from Gujranwala and was unable to speak and hear, was found in Lahore in a destitute condition and immediately shifted to the Edhi Center.
The Virtual Center for Child Safety’s “Mera Pyara” team recorded his video interview and shared it on social media along with his 2010 old photograph. Through the digital awareness campaign, a relative recognized him after watching the video and immediately informed the family.
After verification, the family confirmed that the individual was Ramzan, son of Muhammad Iqbal, who had been missing since 2010.
The Safe City team completed all necessary verification and safely handed him over to his family. The reunion after 15 years turned emotional as family members broke into tears upon seeing their long-lost son.
According to a Safe City spokesperson, the “Mera Pyara” initiative continues to play a vital role in reconnecting missing individuals with their families. Citizens have been advised to contact emergency helpline 15 and press 3 for information related to missing children.
The spokesperson further added that Safe City remains committed to reuniting missing and abandoned individuals with their families through continuous efforts.
