Two Afghan Nationals Killed, Several Injured After Security Forces Fire on Suspected Vehicle in Dasht Area of Turbat

Turbat – At least two people, including a woman, were killed and around 12 others injured after security forces opened fire on a suspected vehicle in the Dasht Boshli area, according to official sources.
The deceased have been identified as Ghulam Jilani and a woman named Farida, both reportedly Afghan nationals.
Security sources stated that the vehicle was signaled to stop, but it did not comply. Officials said repeated attempts were made to halt the vehicle, however, the driver allegedly ignored instructions, prompting the security personnel to take action.
The vehicle was reportedly carrying several passengers believed to be attempting to cross illegally towards Iran. All occupants were stated to be Afghan nationals.
Following the incident, around 12 injured individuals were taken into custody and shifted to a hospital in Turbat for medical treatment. Authorities confirmed that children present in the vehicle remained unharmed.
Dasht – Security sources further said that investigations are underway, while no official detailed statement has yet been issued regarding the incident.
