Two Miners Trapped and Killed in Toxic Gas Incident at Small Chamalang Coal Mine

Duki:Two miners tragically lost their lives after being trapped in a coal mine in the Small Chamalang area of Duki due to the filling of the mine with toxic gas. According to Mines Inspector Sabir Shah, the affected mine is 1,000 feet deep, with the miners trapped at a depth of 800 feet.
One miner, after becoming trapped, attempted to rescue the other, but both became stuck. Due to the presence of toxic gas, both miners fell into a water pit inside the mine. They suffocated from the toxic gas, leading to their deaths. The incident occurred around 10 AM, and despite several hours passing, their bodies have not yet been recovered.
A rescue operation is currently underway to retrieve the bodies. The miners trapped in the coal mine have been identified as Anwar Shah, son of Omar Shah, and Nematullah, son of Mohammad Ali. The ongoing rescue efforts aim to bring their remains to the surface.
