US Imposes New Sanctions on Iranian Nationals, Firms and Vessel

Washington/Islamabad: The United States Department of the Treasury has announced a new round of sanctions targeting individuals and entities linked to Iran.
According to the Treasury Department, sanctions have been imposed on six Iranian nationals, 21 companies, and one maritime vessel. The move is part of ongoing efforts by the United States to increase pressure on networks it alleges are involved in activities of concern.
US officials also indicated that certain Chinese companies and individuals have been included in the sanctions framework, though detailed information has not yet been released.
The latest measures come amid continuing geopolitical tensions, with Washington maintaining its policy of economic restrictions against entities it believes are connected to Iran’s strategic and commercial operations.
