Governments Ignoring Public Issues, Terrorism a Planned Attempt to Seize Resources: Asghar Khan Achakzai

Qila Saifullah: Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Asghar Khan Achakzai has said that governments in power are not concerned about the serious problems faced by the public, adding that terrorism in Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan is part of a systematic attempt to seize resources.
Addressing a large public gathering and protest rally in Qila Saifullah, he said that the closure of trade routes has severely damaged the economic lifeline of the region, leaving people struggling to meet basic needs.
He further stated that already distressed communities have been hit by recent heavy rains and hailstorms, which have caused significant damage to agriculture and daily life. He demanded that the government immediately announce a waiver of all agricultural loans for farmers affected by the crisis.
The rally was also addressed by district president Haji Muhammad Khan Kakar, Malik Amanullah Khan Kakar, and other party leaders. Speakers criticized the rising prices of petroleum products, calling them an additional economic burden on the poor, and vowed that ANP would continue to raise its voice for public rights on all forums.
Prior to the rally, a protest march was also held against inflation and poor governance, with participants demanding urgent relief measures for the public.
