The rain created spiritually uplifting scenes at Masjid al-Haram, where pilgrims were seen performing Tawaf in the rain. Videos of worshippers praying in front of the Holy Kaaba during rainfall have gone viral on social media, drawing emotional responses from viewers worldwide.
Saudi authorities immediately deployed special teams to ensure cleanliness and facilitate pilgrims so that worship activities could continue without interruption during the rainfall.
According to the meteorological department, the spell of rain is expected to continue for the next few days. The showers have also contributed to greenery in the mountainous areas around Makkah, enhancing the natural landscape of the holy city.
