Gulf States Consider New Oil Pipeline to Bypass Strait of Hormuz

Abu Dhabi (Daily Qudrat News): Gulf countries are exploring plans to construct a new oil pipeline to maintain energy supply while bypassing the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a British newspaper report, the proposed pipeline would circumvent the chokepoint controlled by Iran at the Strait of Hormuz. Officials and industry experts say the project would be both costly and politically complex but could be the only viable way to ensure uninterrupted energy transport.

The report also notes that one option under consideration is the U.S.-led India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, which would link India to Europe through Gulf routes.
