Inquiry Team Formed After Alleged Police Firing Kills Youth in Quetta

Quetta: A young man, identified as Khalid Sasoli, was reportedly killed in an alleged firing incident involving the police Eagle Squad in Quetta. Following the incident, authorities have constituted an inquiry team to investigate the matter thoroughly.
On the directives of the Provincial Home Minister, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqat met with the victim’s father and briefed him on the progress of the case and ongoing investigations. Officials stated that the inquiry team will examine all aspects of the incident in detail to determine the facts.
The government assured the bereaved family that justice would be ensured at all costs. Authorities also expressed solidarity with the victim’s family, emphasizing that they would not be left alone during this difficult time. Full cooperation and support have been pledged by the Balochistan government as the investigation proceeds.
