Mobile “Book Van” and “Science on Wheels” Bring Education to Remote Areas of Balochistan

A unique initiative aimed at promoting education in remote regions of Balochistan is transforming the learning landscape through mobile facilities known as “Book Van” and “Science on Wheels.” These innovative projects are delivering knowledge directly to children in far-flung villages, lighting the path toward education.
Originally launched as mobile schools, the initiative has evolved into traveling libraries and modern science units. The “Book Van” provides access to reading materials, while “Science on Wheels” functions as a mobile science lab, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning among children who lack access to formal educational resources.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir Sarfraz Bugti praised the initiative, stating that such creative and determined efforts are a strong guarantee of a bright and educated future for the province. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting education and ensuring that children have opportunities to learn modern subjects.
