JUI-F Rejects Petrol Price Hike, Demands Immediate Reversal

Islamabad: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has strongly rejected the recent increase in petrol and diesel prices, demanding that the government immediately withdraw the decision.
In a statement, party spokesperson Aslam Ghauri said that adding further financial burden on inflation-hit citizens is unacceptable and represents a continuation of anti-people policies.
He said the government has completely failed to provide relief to the public, while rising inflation has made life extremely difficult for ordinary citizens.
According to him, any increase in petroleum product prices affects all segments of society, as it leads to a further rise in the cost of essential goods.
The JUI-F spokesperson warned that the party will raise a strong voice against inflation and soon announce a public movement on the issue.
He urged the government to immediately reverse the price hike and provide relief to the public, warning that otherwise strong protests would follow.
