Widespread Violence and Accidents Rock Balochistan; Multiple Attacks, Deaths and Injuries Reported Across Province

Quetta / Dhadar / Mastung / Chagai: A series of violent incidents, terrorist attacks, road accidents, and drowning cases across various districts of Balochistan have left at least two people dead and six others injured, while security forces have launched investigations and search operations in multiple areas.
In a major security incident in Dhadar, unidentified armed men attacked a police station and a National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office with hand grenades and gunfire. According to police officials, a grenade exploded inside the police station before attackers opened indiscriminate fire. Security forces retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee. The NADRA office also came under fire, damaging computer systems, though no casualties were reported.
Separately, in the Quetta outskirts, unknown armed men set construction and gas-related machinery on fire in the Spinkarez area and escaped. Security forces have launched a search operation in the region.
In Chagai, the bodies of eight people, including a foreign national killed in an attack at an NRL camp, were shifted to Quetta before being sent to their respective home regions. The body of the foreign victim was later transported to Karachi and handed over to the Turkish consulate.
In a separate violent incident in Mastung, unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire at the home of a security guard identified as Majid Sasoli in Kalat Dato area. He and his minor daughter sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Quetta for treatment. Local residents strongly condemned the attack and demanded the arrest of the attackers.
Meanwhile, a political figure abducted from Dast Kambela in Mastung, PTI leader Sardar Doda Shahwani along with two relatives, was safely recovered and returned home, according to officials.
In separate incidents in Dera Allah Yar and Tamboo, road accidents and firing incidents claimed the life of a tribal figure Wadera Mehr Gul Marri and left two others injured. The injured were shifted to hospital in critical condition.
Additionally, in Bhanger Colony under Dera Allah Yar jurisdiction, two young girls drowned while bathing in a water pond. One child was recovered but later died in hospital, while search operations continue for the second girl.
Police have registered cases in all incidents and launched investigations as security forces continue operations across affected districts.
