Female Student Arrested from Bolan Medical College for Alleged Links to Banned Outfit

QUETTA: Security authorities have arrested a female student from Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BMC) over alleged links to a banned organization, officials confirmed.
According to official sources, the suspect was taken into custody after “clear and concrete evidence” of facilitating and assisting militants emerged. Authorities stated that the arrest was carried out in accordance with legal procedures and standard operating protocols.
The detainee has since been shifted to an internment and detention center under relevant laws. Officials said that the Government of Balochistan had issued formal orders for her detention, and her family has been informed in line with legal requirements.
Advisor to the Balochistan government on interior, Babar Yousafzai, confirmed the development, stating that solid evidence of facilitation was found against the student. He emphasized that all actions were taken strictly within the legal framework.
Authorities maintained that the process is being conducted transparently and urged the public and media to avoid spreading unverified information or rumors regarding the sensitive case.
