US Chargé d’Affaires Meets Ishaq Dar, Discusses Regional Situation and Diplomacy Efforts

Islamabad: Natalie Baker, the United States Chargé d’Affaires, met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss the evolving regional situation, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on recent developments in the region. Pakistan emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing tensions.
Ishaq Dar urged both the United States and Iran to enhance engagement and consider extending the ongoing ceasefire to ensure regional stability. In response, Natalie Baker appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and positive role in promoting peace in the region.
Earlier, Ishaq Dar also held a meeting with Jiang Zaidong, where both sides discussed regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.
According to a statement by the Foreign Office, the Chinese envoy commended Pakistan’s continued efforts to facilitate communication between the United States and Iran, noting that such initiatives are vital for achieving lasting peace and stability both in the region and beyond.
