Improved Facilities for Lawyers Can Strengthen Justice System: Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that providing better facilities to lawyers can make the justice system more effective.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a joint delegation of the Pakistan Bar Council and Balochistan Bar Council in Quetta on Monday. The meeting focused on the issues faced by the legal community, as well as ongoing and proposed welfare initiatives for lawyers.

During the session, detailed briefings were given on several measures, including improved medical coverage for lawyers, provision of subsidized chambers at Municipal Plaza, and transport facilities such as pink scooters, shuttle carts, buses, and pink vans. Progress on a digital library and a Lawyers Welfare Housing Scheme was also discussed.

The chief minister emphasized that the welfare of lawyers is among the government’s top priorities and that practical steps are being taken to address their concerns across the province.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with the legal community to advance welfare projects and ensure their timely completion.

The delegation included Munir Ahmed Kakar, along with Nadir Chalgari, Ayaz Mandokhail, Najeeb Kakar, and Afzal Harifal. Principal Secretary Imran Zarkoon and Law Secretary Dr. Parvez Nosherwani were also present at the meeting.
