National Party Condemns Enforced Disappearances of Youth in Baloch Areas, Urges Dialogue to Resolve Issues
*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* The provincial spokesperson of the National Party has expressed deep concern over a growing campaign of enforced disappearances targeting youth in Baloch areas of Quetta, particularly in Qamberani, Saryab, Shabo, Alamo Killi Ismail, and across Balochistan. The party said this campaign is being used to create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.
The spokesperson highlighted that under the pretext of security operations, homes are being raided and valuable items looted, while students in educational institutions are being specifically targeted. These actions have caused widespread fear among educated youth, with some fleeing to remote areas for safety.
The National Party condemned the use of force to instill fear, harassment through raids, and the daily discovery of mutilated bodies, describing these acts as anti-Baloch and as exacerbating instability in the province.
The party called for an immediate end to raids and harassment, urging authorities to bring all missing persons to light. They stressed that the issues of Balochistan must be resolved through peaceful dialogue and negotiation, rather than through intimidation and human rights violations.
