Tuba Anwar Says People No Longer Know How to Love

Lahore: Pakistani actress Tuba Anwar has expressed concern that people today no longer understand how to truly love, saying modern life has shifted priorities away from meaningful relationships.

In a recent interview, she shared her views on love, stating that genuine affection is reflected through care and attention. However, she believes such emotions are becoming increasingly rare.

“People don’t seem to fall in love anymore, and many don’t even know how to love,” she said, adding that the kind of romance seen in previous generations—like that of their parents—appears to have faded.

Tuba Anwar noted that while some people still experience true love, many are now preoccupied with personal problems, material pursuits, and multiple choices, which affect their ability to form deep connections.

Referring to cinematic portrayals of romance, she remarked that expectations shaped by films, including those associated with Bollywood and stars like Shah Rukh Khan, may not reflect real-life relationships.

She concluded by saying that lifelong commitment is no longer guaranteed, and that modern relationships often lack the depth and sincerity once commonly seen.
