Javed Sheikh Reveals Inappropriate Behavior by Bollywood Actor Emraan Hashmi During Filming

Karachi:Renowned actor, director, and producer Javed Sheikh has revealed that Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi once displayed inappropriate behavior towards him during a film shoot, leaving him deeply upset.

In a recent appearance on ‘Aaj TV’s Ramadan transmission, Javed Sheikh opened up about various topics, including his experience working with Emraan Hashmi. He shared that he had traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, for the shoot, where Emraan Hashmi was also present. During the shoot, the director introduced both actors, and Javed Sheikh extended his hand to Emraan Hashmi for a handshake. However, Hashmi responded coldly, shaking his hand reluctantly and walking away, which angered Javed Sheikh.

The actor recalled that the next day, when he arrived on set for the shoot, the crew asked him to speak with Emraan Hashmi regarding a rehearsal. In response, Javed Sheikh, still upset, refused to approach Hashmi and told the crew to send Hashmi to him instead. Later, Emraan Hashmi did come over, and the rehearsal took place.

Javed Sheikh also shared that, after the incident, he refrained from speaking to Emraan Hashmi for 15 days, even while working on the set. Eventually, Emraan Hashmi initiated conversation with him.

Javed Sheikh emphasized that actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar show him respect by addressing him as “Sheikh Sahib,” whereas Emraan Hashmi had shown disrespect. He added that revenge doesn’t always have to involve rudeness; one can also take a softer approach to get even.

The actor’s remarks during the Ramadan transmission were met with significant backlash from viewers. Many users questioned the appropriateness of discussing such topics in a Ramadan special, with one commenter asking, “Is this really a Ramadan transmission?” Some criticized the tone, with one user sarcastically noting, “The cleric sitting beside him must be wondering if he is on a Ramadan transmission or The Kapil Sharma Show.”

The criticism highlighted concerns over the focus of such programs, with many urging a more spiritual approach during the holy month.
