PCB Retains Shan Masood as Test Captain, Considers Sarfaraz Ahmed for Head Coach Role

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board has made key decisions regarding the leadership and coaching structure of the national Test team, with Shan Masood set to continue as Test captain.
According to media reports, the board has decided to maintain continuity in the Test setup, and Shan Masood will remain in charge of the side as captain.
At the same time, former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is being considered for the role of head coach for the red-ball team. If appointed, it would mark his first coaching assignment with the national side.
Reports suggest that the Pakistan Cricket Board is aiming to improve stability and coordination between team management and captaincy in order to enhance Test performance.
Sources indicate that Sarfaraz Ahmed may replace current head coach Azhar Mahmood in the red-ball setup, while also continuing his responsibilities as a selector.
Pakistan is scheduled to play upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, West Indies, and England.
