European Union Announces High-Level Business Forum in Pakistan

Islamabad: The European Union has announced the holding of a high-level business forum in Pakistan aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties between the two sides.
According to an official statement, the EU–Pakistan Business Forum will be held on April 28 and 29 in Islamabad, bringing together European and Pakistani investors, business leaders, and policymakers.
The European Union, one of the world’s largest single markets, is also a major export destination for Pakistan. The forum is expected to play a key role in transforming trade relations into long-term investment opportunities and promoting industrial growth.
Key sectors to be discussed at the event include agribusiness, digital innovation, fintech, green logistics, and textiles.
The EU’s Global Gateway initiative is also expected to highlight investment opportunities worth approximately 400 billion euros in Pakistan, further strengthening economic cooperation between the two partners.
