Saudi Finance Minister Meets PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, Focus on Trade and Investment Cooperation

Islamabad: Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan arrived in Pakistan on a one-day visit and held a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the Saudi minister and conveyed his regards and best wishes to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He also fondly recalled his recent telephonic conversation with the Crown Prince and praised Saudi Arabia’s longstanding economic and financial support, which has played a vital role in Pakistan’s economic stability.
The prime minister reaffirmed that the people and government of Pakistan stand firmly with Saudi Arabia and emphasized that the enduring brotherly relationship between the two countries has grown stronger under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, and economic development. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to expanding collaboration with Saudi Arabia across all sectors.
The Saudi finance minister thanked the prime minister for the warm hospitality and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening its deep-rooted and historic ties with Pakistan in line with the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
