Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Condemns Unlawful Raids and Misconduct by Forces in Chaman

Chaman: The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party strongly condemned recent actions by police and Frontier Corps (FC) in various areas of Chaman, where security forces allegedly conducted unwarranted home raids, mistreated women, and violated the sanctity of privacy and household dignity.
In an official statement, the party criticized the conduct of the implicated Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), noting that he had previously engaged in actions harmful to the public. The statement emphasized that in any civilized society, entering homes without female officers present and harassing women is unacceptable, causes fear among families, and undermines trust between citizens and state institutions.
The party demanded immediate and strict action against the involved personnel and called on authorities to ensure all future operations comply with constitutional and legal norms. It also urged the administration to issue clear directives safeguarding citizens’ fundamental rights, personal dignity, and household sanctity.
The statement concluded that the state’s responsibility is to provide protection to its people, not to instill fear or insecurity.
