Baseless Rumors About Local Elections Postponement, Polling in Quetta Scheduled for December 28: Provincial Election Commissioner

*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* — Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan, Ali Asghar Siyal, has strongly denied circulating rumors claiming that local government elections in certain union councils of Quetta have been postponed.

Ali Asghar Siyal clarified that no such decision has been made, describing the reports as completely baseless and misleading. He urged the public not to trust unverified news and to rely only on official sources from the Election Commission for authentic information.

According to the Election Commission’s schedule, the elections for general members of the urban union council wards in Quetta are set to be held on December 28, 2025, as planned.
