Under Ceasefire, Iran and Oman to Collect Fees from Ships Passing Through Strait of Hormuz

Tehran: Under the ongoing ceasefire agreement, Iran and Oman will collect fees from vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to news agencies, Iran plans to use these funds for reconstruction purposes, while Oman’s plans for the revenue remain unclear. Analysts suggest that if implemented, this would be considered a significant success for Iran.
Iranian state media have indicated that the ongoing negotiations with the United States are aligned with a 10-point plan proposed by Tehran. These points include ending regional conflicts and securing important political and economic guarantees for Iran.
