Trump Claims ‘100% Victory,’ Says Iran Brought to Negotiating Table

WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran was brought to the negotiating table as a result of American military and diplomatic pressure.
Speaking to a news agency, Trump said the United States had achieved a “complete victory” in the conflict, adding, “We won 100%, there is no question about it.” He asserted that under the ongoing two-week ceasefire arrangement, Iran’s uranium issue would be handled in the “best possible way.”
The U.S. president emphasized that Iran’s nuclear material would be fully controlled, suggesting that such assurances were a key condition for agreeing to the ceasefire. “Iran’s uranium will be completely taken care of, otherwise I would not have made this deal,” he said.
His remarks come amid continuing diplomatic efforts to turn the temporary truce into a broader agreement, with negotiations expected to address key security and nuclear concerns between the two sides.
