Soaring Petrol Prices Force Karachi Traffic Police Officer to Commute by Bicycle; Video Goes Viral

Karachi: Amid skyrocketing petrol prices, a Karachi Traffic Police officer has resorted to using a bicycle to commute to and from duty, a move that has captured public attention after a video of the officer went viral on social media.

According to reports, the rising cost of petroleum products is not only affecting the general public but also law enforcement personnel. Traffic police officer Imtiaz stated that due to the high fuel prices, he has switched to cycling in order to reduce travel expenses.

In addition, videos have surfaced showing SSU Commandos personnel expressing similar concerns over the financial strain caused by petrol hikes. One SSU officer highlighted that poor road conditions also contribute to vehicle damage, making the rising fuel costs an even greater challenge.

The officer appealed for some relief measures, emphasizing the financial difficulties faced by security personnel due to escalating fuel prices.
