Trump Warns of Possible Strikes on Iran’s Infrastructure Amid Ongoing Tensions

Islamabad: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, suggesting potential military action targeting key infrastructure if a deal is not reached soon.
In a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump said that “Tuesday will be the day of power plants and bridges in Iran,” adding that “everything will be wrapped up,” indicating possible large-scale strikes.
Speaking to a U.S. broadcaster, Trump claimed there was still a “good chance” of reaching an agreement with Iran. However, he reiterated his earlier threats, warning that failure to strike a deal could lead to severe consequences, including bombing and taking control of oil resources.
Trump also referenced the strategic Strait of Hormuz, stating that Iran must ensure its opening or face escalation. He had previously given Tehran a deadline and warned of major action within 48 hours if demands were not met.
He further warned that if Iran fails to comply, “bridges and power plants across the country will be seen collapsing,” underscoring the seriousness of his stance.
Trump has repeatedly issued threats toward Iran in the past, although he has also extended deadlines amid mediation efforts to resolve tensions diplomatically.
