Iran Thanks Pakistan for Support Against “External Aggression”: Foreign Minister

Tehran: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their strong support against what he described as external aggression.

In a post on the social media platform X, Araghchi said he sincerely thanked the government and people of Pakistan for expressing solidarity with the people and government of the Iran in the face of aggression by the United States and the “Zionist regime.”

He wrote that during these blessed and spiritual days, Iran deeply appreciates Pakistan’s support and unity shown toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.


Araghchi added that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains steadfast in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity with full trust in God.

Earlier, the Iranian foreign minister also rejected claims by Donald Trump, stating that Iran had not contacted anyone for negotiations. He further said that Iran was not involved in attacks on Saudi Arabia.

Araghchi also claimed that U.S. “Loqs” drones were copies of Iran’s Shahed drones and alleged that such drones were being used to target Arab countries. The United States has denied the Iranian claims.
