Trump Fires Attorney General Pam Bondi, Appoints Todd Blanche as Acting AG; Army Chief Replaced

In a series of high-profile changes in the U.S. administration, President Donald Trump has dismissed Attorney General Pam Bondi. Sources report that Todd Blanche, previously serving as Deputy Attorney General, has been appointed as the Acting Attorney General.

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth removed Chief of Staff General Randy George from his position. Media reports suggest that Secretary Hegseth is seeking an Army Chief of Staff aligned with both President Trump and his strategic vision for the military.

General George previously served as a senior military assistant to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin during the Biden administration and has extensive experience in major conflicts, including the First Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

These changes signal a shift in key leadership positions in both the Justice Department and the U.S. military hierarchy.
