Suicide Car Bomb Attack at Domel Police Station in Bannu Kills Five, Injures 18
A deadly suicide car bombing targeted the gate of a police station in Bannu on Friday, leaving at least five people dead and 18 others injured, according to local authorities.
The attack occurred at the entrance of the Domel Police Station, where a suicide attacker rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the gate, triggering a powerful blast. The explosion caused significant damage to nearby residential buildings as well.
Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan confirmed the casualties, stating that the deceased include three women, one man, and a child. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and shifted the injured and victims to nearby hospitals.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while security in the area has been heightened following the attack.
