Light Rain and Drizzle Continue Across Karachi; More Showers Expected Until April 4

Karachi — Various areas of Karachi experienced light rain and drizzle since last night, bringing a pleasant change in weather across the city.
According to reports, rainfall was recorded in multiple localities including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, Old City areas along M.A. Jinnah Road, Malir, and Korangi. Light showers were also witnessed in Defence and Shah Faisal Colony, among other neighborhoods.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast more rain from today until April 4 in Karachi and several other districts of Sindh, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, and Qambar Shahdadkot.
Additional areas such as Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Matiari, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Thatta, and Hyderabad are also likely to receive rain.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for K-Electric stated that due to the expected rainfall, power supply may be temporarily suspended in certain areas as a precautionary measure.
Electricity will be restored once the rain stops and field teams complete safety clearance operations, the spokesperson added.
The ongoing weather pattern is expected to continue over the next few days, with intermittent rain likely across Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
