BAP Senior Leader Mir Sakhi Abdul Rahim Sasoli Killed in Shooting in Kalat

Kalat (April 1, 2026): In a tragic incident in Nimrgh, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) senior leader and prominent tribal figure Mir Sakhi Abdul Rahim Sasoli was shot dead along with one of his security guards.

Police sources said that Mir Sakhi Abdul Rahim Sasoli, son of Mir Abdul Ghafoor Sasoli, was at a private tube well with his security personnel when unidentified armed attackers on a motorcycle opened fire on them and fled the scene.

The attack claimed the lives of Mir Sakhi Abdul Rahim Sasoli and his guard Zafarullah Sasoli instantly, while another guard, Ikram Sasoli, was critically injured and later referred to Quetta for advanced medical treatment.

Law enforcement, including the Levies and local police, quickly arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and initiated investigations. The bodies were handed over to the families after necessary legal procedures.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for the assailants, but the motive behind the attack has not yet been determined.
