Flash Floods Hit Killa Abdullah, Vehicles Swept Away; Roads Blocked, Rescue Operations Underway

Chaman: Severe flash floods have wreaked havoc across Killa Abdullah, Gulistan, and Jungle Piralizai in Balochistan, sweeping away a passenger van, trucks, and goods-laden vehicles.
According to district authorities, a truck carrying food supplies was swept away in the Habib Zai area of Gulistan tehsil, while a van with 15 passengers was also caught in the floodwaters. Rescue operations have been launched to save stranded passengers.
Authorities reported that the Killa Abdullah river is experiencing a high-level flood, causing disruptions on the Quetta-Chaman highway. Several connecting roads have been closed, leaving passengers and vehicles stranded in areas including Toba Achakzai and Pishin.
The situation is critical in Gulistan (Killa Abdullah), where vehicles, tractors, and residents are trapped in floodwaters. District administration has urged locals to avoid travel and cooperate with rescue teams working to evacuate stranded individuals.
