Brother Allegedly Kills Sibling Over Family Dispute in Quetta, Manhunt Underway

Quetta: A tragic shooting incident stemming from a family dispute claimed the life of a man in Quetta’s Qaidabad police jurisdiction, where a brother allegedly shot and killed his own sibling.

According to police, officers and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving reports of the incident. The victim’s body was shifted to a hospital for legal and medical formalities.

Police sources identified the deceased as Muhammad Basit, son of Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of Qureshi Mohalla on Fateh Khan Road in Quetta.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident was the result of a long-standing family feud and domestic tensions. Authorities said the suspect allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on his brother in a fit of anger, causing fatal injuries that led to his death.

Law enforcement officials have collected evidence from the crime scene and launched raids at various locations to apprehend the suspect.

Police stated that further investigation is underway and expressed confidence that the accused will be arrested soon.
