Over 1,000 Drones Intercepted as Gulf Nations Face Massive Missile Attacks

Riyadh/Dubai: Recent Arab media reports have revealed alarming details about the escalating conflict in the Middle East, with Iran allegedly launching more than 5,200 large-scale attacks on Gulf countries over the past 30 days.

The attacks reportedly involved ballistic missiles, drones, and, in some cases, fighter jets, intensifying fears that the region is on the brink of a full-scale war.

According to the reports, Gulf nations’ defense systems have responded with significant effectiveness:

Saudi Arabia: Intercepted 57 missiles and 1,006 drones, preventing major casualties and damage.
United Arab Emirates: Faced one of the heaviest assaults, with 413 missiles and 1,914 drones launched, most of which were neutralized by advanced defense systems.
Kuwait: Reportedly targeted with 309 ballistic missiles and 616 drones aimed at key installations.
Qatar: Came under attack with 206 missiles, 90 drones, and even two fighter jets, signaling an escalation in the nature of strikes.
Bahrain: Confirmed intercepting 174 missiles and 391 drones over the past month.

Experts say the scale and diversity of these attacks indicate that the region is facing a potentially devastating conflict. However, advanced missile defense systems, including Patriot batteries and other air defense technologies, have so far helped avert large-scale destruction.
