19 Countries, Including Saudi Arabia, Condemn Israeli Annexation Plans in West Bank

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia, along with 18 other countries, has condemned Israel’s decision to annex parts of the West Bank, officials said.

The joint statement, issued by the League of Arab States and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), criticized the move as a large-scale attempt to declare Palestinian land as part of Israel.

The statement said the measures accelerate Israel’s illegal settlement activities and strengthen the Israeli administration in occupied territories.

The joint declaration was issued by Saudi Arabia, Brazil, France, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Egypt, Jordan, Luxembourg, Norway, Palestine, Portugal, Qatar, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.
