BAP Denies Merger Rumors, Reaffirms Its Role as Key Ally of PML-N

Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has categorically denied rumors about its merger, calling such reports “completely baseless.” Mir Ziaullah Langoo stated in an official release that BAP remains a strong, organized, and active political party with a clear identity and purpose.

He emphasized that no decision regarding the party’s dissolution or merger has been made, nor has there been any consultation on the matter. BAP continues to operate under the leadership of Mir Khalid Mengal and former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, maintaining unity and cohesion.

Langoo highlighted that BAP is an important allied party of Pakistan Muslim League (N) at both provincial and federal levels, contributing effectively as an ally. He reiterated that the party was founded with the core mission of understanding and addressing the issues of Balochistan at a local level and continues to serve the people in line with its manifesto.

The spokesperson added that BAP’s growing public support and trust reflect its credibility as a genuine representative party committed to the development, prosperity, and protection of citizens’ rights in Balochistan and across Pakistan.
