Violence and Arrests of Government Employees Across Balochistan Condemned, National Party Stands with Workers: Aslam Baloch

**Quetta:** Chairman and President of the National Party Balochistan, Aslam Baloch, has strongly condemned what he described as a continued crackdown, violence and arrests of government employees across the province, calling the actions unjust and unacceptable.
In a statement, Aslam Baloch said that government employees in Balochistan are being denied the same facilities and benefits that are being provided to employees in the federation and the other three provinces. He stated that providing these benefits is the rightful demand of Balochistan’s employees and the constitutional responsibility of the provincial government. However, instead of addressing their legitimate demands, the government has resorted to violence, arrests and suppression of voices raised in protest.
He further said that not only protesting employees are being subjected to brutal treatment, but political workers who have raised their voices in support of the employees are also being arrested. He pointed out that several leaders and activists of the National Party, including Central Committee member Dr. Ramzan Hazara, Khuzdar District President Raees Bashir Ahmed, BSO Pajjar Hub Chowki President Abdul Malik Baloch, and National Party Hub member Arbab Baloch, are currently imprisoned alongside government employees. According to him, this demonstrates that the National Party is standing with employees in practice, not just in words.
Aslam Baloch emphasized that the National Party is a true representative of the oppressed people and marginalized classes of Balochistan and has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the people in difficult times.
He demanded the immediate release of all arrested government employees and political workers and called on the provincial government to accept and implement the legitimate demands of the employees without further delay.
