Man Critically Injured During Robbery Resistance in Quetta’s Pashtoonabad Area
Quetta: A man was critically injured after being shot during a robbery attempt in the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta late at night, police said.
The incident occurred in Kili Badezai, within the jurisdiction of Pashtoonabad Police Station, where three motorcycle-riding suspects attempted to snatch a mobile phone from a local resident, Naseebullah.
According to reports, when Naseebullah resisted the robbery, the assailants opened indiscriminate fire, leaving him seriously wounded.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors are making efforts to save his life.
Residents of the area have expressed concern over the rising incidents of theft and robbery in suburban parts of the city, saying that citizens feel increasingly unsafe.
Police have launched a search operation and are investigating the case, but no arrests have been made so far.
