Karachi: Emerging Pakistani actress Aina Asif has sparked debate in the entertainment industry after criticizing the behavior of senior actors on set, alleging that they deliberately make newcomers feel uncomfortable.

Speaking during a recent appearance on a private TV channel, Aina Asif claimed that established stars often point out minor flaws in junior actors and react harshly to small mistakes, creating an intimidating environment. She said that such behavior appears intentional, aimed at making new actors feel uneasy and undermining their confidence.

The actress further revealed that during important scenes, some senior actors intentionally engage in distractions—such as talking or making movements—to break her focus while performing.

Following the viral circulation of her statements on social media, fellow actress Alizeh Shah publicly supported her. Sharing Aina’s remarks on Instagram, Alizeh praised her as one of the most talented and intelligent actresses of her generation.

Alizeh Shah also endorsed Aina’s claims, stating that such treatment is often faced by young actors who lack a strong family background in the industry. She commended Aina for courageously speaking out on a sensitive issue and bringing attention to challenges faced by newcomers in showbiz.
