PKMAP Holds Regional Conference in Pishin, Elects New Cabinet

Pishin (Qudrat Daily) – The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party held a regional conference of its Anzargai unit in Tehsil Hurmzai, chaired by Tehsil President Manaf Khan Advocate.

Addressing the conference were Central General Secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Central Secretary Abdul Haq Abdal, Provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan, Sindh Information Secretary Sarbaz Abdul Rab Durani, and other party leaders.

A new cabinet was elected during the conference, with Rehmatullah as Regional Secretary, Shamsullah as Senior Deputy Secretary, and Ramzan Khan as Information Secretary. Several others, including Inayatullah, Qasim Khan, Shaghasi, Wahid Aka, Habibullah, Abdul Bari, Councillor Ghaffar, Hissamuddin, Sarwar Khan, Muhammad Hassan, Wali Muhammad Toofan, Mohiuddin, Shafi, and Muhammad Nazeer, were elected as deputies. Provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan later administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet members.

Speakers stated that under the leadership of party chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the party has effectively represented the case of Pashtuns and democratic forces, reflecting the aspirations of the people.

They criticized the current government as non-representative and alleged unfair distribution of provincial resources and land, stressing that people must be given rightful ownership of their resources. They emphasized that Pakistan is a federation where all nationalities deserve equal rights, while claiming that Pashtuns are being deprived of their language and resources.

Participants urged party workers to raise awareness among the public and strengthen the national movement to address the long-standing issues faced by Pashtuns.

Commenting on regional and international developments, the speakers expressed concern over tensions in the Gulf and called for an immediate end to conflict involving Iran, United States, and Israel. They emphasized that oil resources belong to the people of those countries and called for dialogue instead of war.

The speakers also urged Pakistan and Afghanistan to resolve issues through dialogue. They clarified that while the party is not against the military or state institutions, it opposes interference in politics, stating that such actions hinder democratic progress and national development.
