Government Raises Kerosene Price Again Amid Global Oil Surge

Islamabad: The government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.66 per liter, reflecting the impact of rising global oil prices on the domestic market.

According to an official notification, the new price of kerosene has been set at Rs433.40 per liter, with immediate effect. This comes just a week after a significant hike of Rs70.73 per liter in kerosene prices.

In contrast, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol remains priced at Rs321.17 per liter, while diesel continues to be sold at Rs335.86 per liter.

The notification further stated that the government will provide a Price Differential Claim (PDC) of Rs95.59 per liter on petrol to oil marketing companies, while the PDC for diesel has been set at Rs203.88 per liter.
