Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Reaffirms Commitment to Pashtun Rights and Social Justice: Khushal Khan Kakar
Killa Saifullah: The chairman of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PK-NEP) and Member of National Assembly, Khushal Khan Kakar, addressed party gatherings in Wacha Bhadrowala and Jangal Akhtar Zai, Killa Saifullah, emphasizing the party’s role as the representative of the proud Afghan Pashtun nation and its aspirations for rights and justice.
Chairman Kakar highlighted that the party’s leadership, ancestors, and martyrs have established PK-NEP as a steadfast voice for Pashtun national rights and collective aspirations through relentless struggle and sacrifices. He stressed that the party remains committed to defending the rights, dignity, and development of its people, ready to make any sacrifice in this path.
Speaking about the challenges facing the Pashtun nation, Kakar pointed to decades-old deprivation, social and economic backwardness, lack of basic education and health facilities, and limited employment opportunities. He described these as consequences of historical injustices and political neglect, which have hindered the development and prosperity of the Pashtun people.
During the gatherings, 90 political and social activists, tribal elders, and religious scholars—led by Hanifullah Zakar in Jangal Akhtar Zai and Allah Dad Zai in Wacha Bhadrowala—formally joined the party, reinforcing its popularity and organizational strength.
Party leaders, including central secretary Allah Noor Khan, provincial finance secretary and Killa Saifullah Municipal Committee chairman Syed Akbar Kakar, Zarif Angar, provincial committee members Yasir Kalewal and Kaleem Saif Afghani, and Hafiz Muhammad Asif, also addressed the events, welcoming new members and affirming that their participation would strengthen the party’s mission for Pashtun unity, progress, and prosperity.
Chairman Kakar concluded: “Our struggle is for political, social, educational, and economic rights. The development, welfare, and basic facilities for Pashtun people remain our highest priority. Every sacrifice we make is for a free, dignified, and prosperous future for Pashtun generations. We will never relinquish the rights of our people and will continue our efforts to end historical deprivation and ensure progress and prosperity for our nation.”
The gatherings not only reinforced the party’s strength but also demonstrated the Pashtun community’s unity against long-standing social and economic challenges, setting the foundation for a brighter and more prosperous future for coming generations.
