Train Services Disrupted After Lodhran Tezgam Accident; Several Trains Canceled and Delayed

Karachi: Train operations across Pakistan remain severely affected following the Lodhran Tezgam accident, according to the Pakistan Railways. Delays of 15 to 20 hours have been reported in train schedules, while four domestic trains from Karachi have been canceled.

The canceled trains include the Sukkur Express to Sukkur, Zakariya Express to Multan, Pak Business Express, and Multan Express to Lala Musa. Passengers of these trains will be accommodated on alternative services.

Other delays include the Green Line to Lahore departing at 7:00 AM on Thursday with a 9-hour delay, and the Khyber Mail to Peshawar departing at 5:30 AM with a 7-hour delay. The Tezgam will depart at 9:30 PM with a 3.5-hour delay, while the Fareed Express will leave at 6:00 AM on Thursday with a 10.5-hour delay.

Trains including the Rehman Baba Express, Pakistan Express, Karakoram Express, Allama Iqbal Express, Mehran Express, and Karachi Express will depart as scheduled.

Pakistan Railways has assured that passengers affected by cancellations or delays will receive full refunds.
