Any Threat to Saudi Arabia Is Also a Threat to Pakistan, Says DG ISPR

Islamabad (Khabar Desk) — Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep, brotherly, and emotional ties, adding that any threat to Saudi Arabia would also be considered a threat to Pakistan.
During a press conference, the DG ISPR was asked about Saudi Arabia’s possible position if India were to carry out aggression against Pakistan again in the future and whether Riyadh would support Islamabad.
Responding to the question, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are historic, multidimensional, and based on strong brotherly bonds.
He stated that the strategic mutual defense agreement between the two countries reflects decades of deep cooperation and partnership.
The military spokesperson further said that Pakistan takes great pride in being regarded as a protector of the Two Holy Mosques, calling it a great honor for every Pakistani and every Muslim.
He added that if the Holy Mosques were ever threatened, Pakistan and its armed forces would stand for their defense, emphasizing that the protection of Harmain Sharifain is closely linked with Saudi Arabia’s national security.
