Balochistan Police Arrest 497 Proclaimed Offenders in 40-Day Crackdown

QUETTA: Balochistan Police have arrested 497 proclaimed offenders during a 40-day province-wide crackdown, marking a significant success in efforts to improve law and order.

According to the police spokesperson, Inspector General (IG) Balochistan praised the performance of officers who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and discipline during the campaign. Cash rewards and commendation certificates have been announced for Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) for their outstanding performance.

The IG particularly commended police teams in Kohlu and Ziarat districts for achieving 100 percent arrest of proclaimed offenders, calling their efforts exemplary.

Based on performance, cash rewards were announced for several districts, including Rs250,000 for officers in Kachhi, Rs200,000 for Hub, and Rs150,000 for Quetta. Additionally, Rs100,000 was allocated for Sibi police and Rs75,000 for Kohlu officers.

The IG stated that the successful operation would further strengthen peace and stability in the province, adding that the crackdown against criminals would continue in the future to tighten the noose around lawbreakers.
