Court Grants One-Day Exemption to Aleema Khan in November 26 Protest Case

Rawalpindi: An anti-terrorism court has approved a one-day exemption from appearance for Aleema Khan in the November 26 protest case.

The hearing was conducted by Judge Amjad Ali Shah, who accepted the plea seeking exemption from personal attendance. The court subsequently adjourned the proceedings until March 30.

The court directed that Aleema Khan must appear at the next hearing without fail. It also summoned all 11 accused individuals and the final witness for the upcoming session.

The judge further stated that the defense counsel will cross-examine the last witness on the next date of hearing.
